History: Wiki Note: I'm using the most recent spelling of Killy's name ('Kyrii') represented in the 2016 Master's Edition series.

Personality: The Blame! series has a lot of doing and not much talking. Especially so in Kyrii's case, who hardly forms complete sentences in any given situation. He doesn't often speak any deeper than surface comments or very direct questions. No backstory. Few emotions. While we do have his partner Cibo to bounce emotions off of to try and interpret Kyrii's, most everything we learn of him is purely visual of his actions.

Luckily, we know from the get-go that he is determined. Kyrii is on a mission for the Net Terminal Gene found in humans, which he needs to stop the development of the ever-expanding City. Problem is, the Net Terminal Gene isn't found in everybody. Worse off, the Safeguard are constantly killing off any humans that don't have the gene. Which is bringing the human race nearly to extinction. An extremely long story short, Kyrii is hunting the good ol' needle in a haystack.

And he's been doing it for at least thousands of years. It's implied throughout the series and movie that Kyrii has the ability to heal himself by entering a sort of self-induced stasis. By the end of chapter 50, Kyrii is literally engulfed by the fires of a large explosion where his body cocoons until he's recovered from the burns and able to wake up and keep moving. While this trait definitely makes the Abilities list below, it's to bring focus to the fact that his Safeguard body is capable of maintaining/repairing itself over and over again for years and years on end.

Going back to that determination, Kyrii seems to be built for this endless quest. The Administration seems to be the responsible party, though through the very nature of Blame! it isn't truly confirmed or denied. The Administration more than likely hijacked a Safeguard body and implanted their own program to carry out the mission of re-securing the Net Sphere for the humans. Enter Kyrii; Literally built for the job of finding the Net Terminal Gene, the only hope humanity has to survive. Which seems to be motivation enough for a man to protect every person he meets, if they don't try to kill him first.

As far as his time in Hadriel... Without being able to read which of the human occupants may be carrying the gene, Kyrii will instinctively want to protect every single one of them. He will want to work together with them in a fairly civilized manner and offer to be the brute force of their battles. And by 'offer' I mean he would likely walk into raging flames to rescue them without a single goddamn word.

REVISION: Kyrii at first glance is quite the blank slate. Much like a futuristic Arnold-style Terminator, Kyrii is an android on a mission and won't let anything get in his way, with a lot of room to grow and learn to express emotions on his own. His only two hobbies involve searching for the Net Terminal Gene and protecting humans from harm. However he does seem to have a deeper interest for his travel partner Cibo. While he would never admit to calling her a friend, he does go to great lengths to protect her in most instances. Cibo is his voice of reason in normally dangerous situations; A piece of humanity that Kyrii just doesn't seem to connect with.

Without Cibo to be his emotional-translator, Kyrii will be a master of his poker face until he finds someone who can properly read him again. This CR is lined up with Rey since she started in a similar mentality, she will be able to provide Kyrii guidance in his own personal growth. Other synth-types will also be of interest to Kyrii, not only because of their non-human markers could classify them as a threat to the humans but also that he can relate to them because of that. He'll want to explore relationships with them to determine if their intentions are pure or not.

He'll also be extremely interested in actively protecting the inhabitants from monsters surrounding the city and perhaps join ranks at the guard, if offered a position. He may want to pass time by purposefully exploring the caves to learn the specific methods to killing the creatures. Or finding someone who already has this experience to teach him. Not only will knowing that give him something entertaining to do in a normally boring situation, but he'll be able to better protect everyone else in the long run.

Inventory:
- Combat Knife; A regular eight inch blade.

- NERFED Graviton Beam Emitter (GBE); Wikipedia, "The GBE is so powerful that he is flung backwards by its sheer power, often into walls and the ground, but he always gets up. Even in its lowest power, his arm jerks up and back from the force of it...The recoil from the GBE is so powerful that he is thrown back a considerable distance, his right arm badly broken and exposing bone and tissue."

08/01/17: Locked in an abnormally low-level state. Able to fire a single disintegrating beam (similar in size to a golf ball) with no connecting explosion. Then drained for a three-to-four week recharge period. To be temporarily granted more power during events as seen fit by the gods? Would love to do more with it.

Abilities:
- Safeguard Body; Kyrii's artificial body promotes accelerated healing. Reattached limbs are healed between a few hours to a few days.

Without fully knowing the actual science used within the body, it is noted that he weighs significantly heavier than a regular human (while also still being able to be carried by one) and that he can throw a much heavier punch because of it. This gives Kyrii an advantage in most fights based on his durability and build alone. His muscle build also allows him to move normally impossible objects, theoretically up to several tons with ease to shift them out of the way.

Kyrii is not impervious to broken bones or bleeding out.

- NERFED Retinal scanning; Shows 'human' and 'non-human' markers. Shows distance and directional markers. While in Hadriel: Everything else on the HUD in his vision is in glitched lines of code. (Maybe to be corrected at a later time via events?)

Flaws:

Kyrii has his mind on the mission at all times. Meaning he doesn't like to loiter very long in one place when he could be somewhere else looking for the gene. If a situation doesn't seem beneficial to his goal or find a conversation at all interesting, he may just decide to leave without ever looking back. Being trapped in a cave will definitely change this outlook— Once he realizes that he can't leave and that none of the occupants have the Net Terminal Gene, he may be more willing to cooperate with the others in search of a way out.

Another ~~fun fact~~ flaw, Kyrii has the emotional range of a Pet Rock. While it may just be in his programming to never be burdened by emotions, he tends to express himself through actions instead. If he gives more than five minutes of the day with someone, then you'll know he cares at least a little bit. This may make him difficult to read during events, though I do expect to have him fully participate in most things that happen in this hell cave.
